 Penny Stove

The original Penny Stove is the brain-child of long time backpacker and inventor Mark Jurey.  After years of tinkering with many different designs, he developed a marvelously simple little alcohol stove that has proven itself to be one of the safest and most efficient designs ever made.  Independent testing has proven his design heats faster, uses less fuel, simmers longer, and weighs less than any commercial alcohol stove on the market.  With Mark’s approval, I have added or modified a few of his basic design features that I feel enhance the usefulness and performance of the stove.
